Love this company. They try to help over the phone to save on a service call when it sounds like a simple fix. In this case, they did have to come out and were able to fix the A/C condensation running on to the floor (was not a clogged drain line). I was ready to buy new equipment, but they saved me a ton of money at the moment by fixing this old A/C unit. It subsequently survived all summer with no leaking!

After my HVAC Maintenance guy (for years) would not schedule my annual furnace tune-up, I researched and decided to go with Berg's. Not only were they price competitive, but they also had good reviews and a good BBB rating as well. Billy, the tech, showed up on time and completed the task. Real respectful. Answered a few of my questions regarding filters and was on his way. I intend to call them back in the Spring for A/C services. Highly Recommend!!

Berg Heating was a great company to work with. The initial contact and explanation of the process to upgrade our heater and add air conditioning was very informative and professional. We didn't feel pressured to make a quick decision but once we spoke to other companies we realized that Berg was by far the best company to have our heater and air conditioner installed. From start to finish the company and their employees were great to work with. They were very knowledgeable and professional and their work ethic was impressive. I would recommend Berg to anyone needing to a HVAC upgrade or install.

I had so many estimates. Of all the estimates and QUALITY , I felt most comfortable with this company. Many companies sent out salesman, and they had openings as soon as the next day. Bergs was knowledgeable and competent. However, this company is well sought after and you do have to wait. I waited and it was 100% well worth it. I got the best price, and quality combo.
Thank you Berg for offering me a military discount !

When my 10-yr old furnace would not start during a cold day another furnace company came out and described a $3300 repair for two components and led me to believe that other components could fail soon because I had a basic "builder's grade" unit that was not rated for high altitude use. I was given an option to buy a new furnace for $9,800 or put $3300 into repairing an unstable, aging unit. The sales pitch was friendly, persuasive and seemed knowledgeable.
I went to Berg for a second opinion. Both the "failing" components were fine and even if they had to be replaced would only cost $1200, not $3300. Berg also showed me where a standard high-altitude kit had already been installed. The furnace problem was simply a blocked combustion air intake. My furnace is fine, has lots of life left in it and the solution was a $119 service fee, not a $3,300 repair to replace perfectly good components or a $9800 furnace replacement.
I have found a trustworthy furnace company that I will now be using and recommend to others.
